アムステルダム国際社会史研究所のウェブサイトに、「今日はどんな日？」といったようなコーナーがあり、Today in 1905 として、『直言』が画像入りで紹介されていました。キャプションにはネットラウコレクションとあるのですが、ロシア社会民主労働党のアーカイヴにあったものと説明があります。そして、日露戦争の戦争捕虜がこれをもたらしたのではと紹介者は考えているようです。以下、原文と画像。

Chokugen, 'the sole publication of the Japanese socialists' was stored in Russia before it came to the IISH. This issue dates from 2 April 1905, in the midst of the Russo-Japanese war. It has the stamp of the Library and Archive of the Russian Social-Democratic Labour Party (RSDAP) on it. Socialists of belligerent nations vowed solidarity and practised it as well. This issue draws attention to the fate of Russian prisoners of war in Japan.
